Originally from New Mexico, I moved to Austin after attending college at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Why Austin? Simply put – it was the people. I wanted to live in a place where people were friendly. Texas has a reputation for that – but nobody does it better than Austin. It didn’t take long for me to feel at home. I got my first job at the Texas Union on the UT Campus where I worked for several years and made many of the friends that I still have to this day!
Like many folks, my work path has taken some very interesting turns and I believe that my combined work experience prepared me perfectly for my job as a Realtor. I have been a loan administrator for a local home builder and a closing officer for Chicago Title Company. I have also held marketing positions with high-tech firms and have worn many hats in the small start-up companies of the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
After careful reflection, I began my real estate career in 2004. What better way to share something you love than to introduce it to a new generation or rediscover it with an individual or family looking to make a move? I love what I do and have a passion for helping people find the perfect place for them. It is all about YOU!
“When you hire me, you will be working with a professional who believes in building relationships that last a lifetime. Your business and your referrals allow me to be successful and I never forget that. I am grateful for you every single day. “ -- Kim Horther
